Earnings on Payperpost

As most of my regulars know, I have been blogging for more than 3 years now on my ah ok lah blog. Autolah was my second blog, which specifically focuses on the auto industry and everything and anything related to cars.

However, I didn't earn a single cent from my blogs even though I did receive some projects from people who got to know me through them. That was until I joined Payperpost.

Anyway, I joined as a "postie" with Payperpost.com, the leader in blog advertising, only in December last year. My wife has stopped complaining about my blogging habit after she saw that I was making money from it. So far I have been paid US $149.30 and am yet to be paid a few hunred dollars more (plus $10 if this post is accepted). That's pretty good considering that I am a newbie.

SO what am I going to do with the money that I have already earned?

Well I am going to transfer a bit to my wife's account, use some to buy household stuff and I am also planning to buy a few domain names.

Introduction to Brajeshwar

I would like to introduce my readers to Brajeshwar, who writes on his popular blog, Brajeshwar.com. In his own words, he is "an ardent believer of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)".

The list of his accomplishments is awesome. He's the first Indian Adobe Community Expert. He is also probably the 2nd Top Indian Digger (54th in the World) and is involved with iGeeks.

I wonder how he manages his time with all these projects.

Tuscany dreams

When we talk about Italy, the first thing that comes to mind is their great food. In fact my wife cooked an Italian dish after getting the recipe from her Italian friend in the University. We are even thinking of having a trip to Italy once our son gets a little older. I have always dreamed of visiting the Colosseum at Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and of course, Venice.

I recently learnt that there is more to Italy then these places. Tuscany is one such place. It is considered the most beautiful region in the whole country. It is well known for it's wines. It also has a number of industries of which the tourism industry forms the economic backbone of the cities. A lot of immigrants have made this region their home and there is also a significant community of British and Americans. It is no wonder that currently there is a wave of interest in property in Tuscany.

Would love to travel there.

Million dollar prize to save the environment

Virgin Group chairman Sir Richard Branson yesterday announced a $25 million (£12.8 million) prize for a way to extract a billion tons or more of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year. Read the report in the Telegraph here.

He was joined by former US Vice President Al Gore and other leading environmentalists, when he announced the launch of the Virgin Earth Challenge prize along with

Branson rejected suggestions that he as an airline owner, was hypocritical.

Toy for autistic kids

Autism is a developmental disability that results from a disorder of the human central nervous system. A report by the BBC last year, revealed that autism is more common than thought and may affect one in 100 children.

I had had Google ads (Adsense) on my blog for a long time. Sadly they did not bring me the numerous cheques, I thought would come flying through my door.

Nut cracker video

My daughter found some almonds. These were still with the hard outer shell and cracking them open to get to the sweet kernel inside proved to be quite a challenge. I don't have a nut cracker so I had to make do with what I had - pliers.

Somehow it seems tastier than those which comes with the shell removed.
