After moving to the UK I have been doing a lot of small DIY projects. I would love to take on some major home improvement projects. Unfortunately, two major considerations prevents me from doing so. First of all, this is not my house and secondly, I am not exactly rolling around in money now-a-days.
Anyway, I was going through some of the Home Improvement Ideas, and thought about my dream home improvement project. If money was no object, I would definitely love to do up my own entertainment centre. I can actually picture it. It would be a mini movie theatre with sophisticated audio-visual system and of course, a comfy seating arrangement. The room would be full of extras that would make it the perfect den for a guy. A mini bar, a pop corn machine and computer with ultra high speed broadband access.
Do you have a dream improvement project?

No I don't dream of DIY.. I would have the money someone would do it for me. I'd love to have a music studio, insulated with mics, computer so I can record, space for my epiano, and guitars. Big shelf for all my music. The lights would be just right... oh I dream of my own studio every single day..

Lillian: I am an amateur DIYer and I guess I would leave it to the professionals if I thought the job was a beyond my abilities or skills.
Ainee: No pink for me but high speed internet and gadets - that's cool. BTW, I have updated my link.
Kenny: What would you do with so many computers unless you were running a cyber cafe ;-)
I suppose my sentiments match that of the others commenting on this post. I would absolutely love to have some of the luxury home additions mentioned - but if I were to spend that type of money for upgrades to a home I would probably contract a professional so that I would know it was done correctly.
First of all, if it's not your house, ask permission to whoever owns it. And because you don't have yet the money to purchase those gadgets, why not browse the web and get ideas as how much it will cost you.
