Blackpool looks lovely and the fireworks! Coantiknya! We had this international fireworks competition in Putrajaya some time back and since my office is just in Putrajaya it was quite a treat :)

Blackpool is in North West England near Lancaster and Manchester.
The fireworks this year (2009) start on Fridays 11/09/2009 and run till 02/10/2009 which is the grand final day. The display starts at 20.30 hours every Friday evening.
Listen to the local news for details on the best place to view as the launch sites are moved to cater for strong winds.
The illuminations this year run from Friday 4th September till the switch off on Sunday 8th November 2009.
