Congratulations to Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor


I almost forgot to post this up even though I had written this down earlier.

My congratulations to Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor on becoming the first Malaysian to go into space. Right now he is on the International Space Station.

  3. yeah, I know..... been reading about it..... so, technically he is not an angkasawan...... or something like that.....

    but since it is easier to say angkasawan...... than space participant....

  6. Kenny: In the US, anyone ho travel above an altitude of 80 kilometers (50 miles are awarded astronaut wings -meaning they are astronauts. The term "Space participant" was only introduced recently.
